How can European cities build alliances and mainstream climate action through affordable housing and inclusive workforces?

The Greater London Authority and C40 Cities are pleased to invite you to Constructing a Fair Future: Building Alliances for Workforce Inclusion, Affordable Housing and Circular Construction, taking place at London City Hall on the morning of 8 October 2026.

For this special event, the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Oslo and Warsaw will join London in a lively discussion about the intersections of climate, housing and workers. Senior officials from these cities will share innovative examples of low carbon affordable housing and green jobs training. Together with a room of built environment professionals they will address some big questions and consider the alliances needed between cities, businesses and communities to overcome structural challenges.
